Doll Stuff
- Bought a J-doll last night for $20 plus shipping, the only catch is she lacks arms but she is on the same type of body as a pullip so I have plenty of replacements on hand.

- I am acquiring a dollfie dream head (will buy a body at my leisure) and have decided to do the most epic three way custom ever involving said DD, a dal and a pullip on a 25cm obitsu. Now this will take me a while to put together but the DD will be Chii, the dal Kotoko (note: the frowny face) and the pullip Sumomo. I already have someone commissioned to make me external audio receptors. I am hoping this will remove my need for the Super Dollfie Chii.

- I have four blythes in the mail at the moment ^^; Ashletina is coming from HLJ. Then I decided I need a black haired blythe… somehow I ended up buying three: All Gold in One, Love Mission and Rosie Red. I am not 100% sure I will keep all three of them.

- Another doll meet this week. I am going to learn how to make doll kimonos among other things

and so this isn’t all text here is my rainbow of Papins.

Saber

Finally bought the Clayz Saber. I do love her outfit without the armor, it is very elegant but the way I have heard people rave about this figure I thought it would be the best Saber ever.

Some of the paint details are a little sloppy.

Her face seems to lack a certain depth to it.

I really do like her as a figure overall but I really don’t feel like this is the best Saber ever not even my favorite Saber that distinction belongs to *numnum* Saber as that figure brings a consistent smile to my face.

New TL package

Finally got my toyslogic package, was quite surprised the petit nendoroid from set 1 of Lucky Star was actually included. It was promised to be over a year ago and I had assumed it had been forgotten.

Stuff like this makes me question my unwavering loyalty to TL..

Volks power..

To me these are kind of like giant 1/8 scale figmas except they break apart with an irritating ease..

I had seen these quite a while ago but although Asuka could be found somewhat easily, Rei proved somewhat harder to find. I decided I would wait until I could I find the set rather than risking having an orphan figure especially since I have such a disproportionate amount of Asuka to Rei figures as it is.

I had kind of forgotten just how odd the Rozen Maiden Customa P figures were, while they are flexible the joints are pretty obnoxious (although truthfully I don’t mind the joints that much) and the plug suits really do not help the matter. I still like them even if I am afraid to handle them as every time I do an arm pops off ^^;

Going to pieces…

This is quite possibly my new favorite anime figure picture that I have personally taken.

My Good Smile Company Hikaru from Peace @ Pieces arrived today. I had searched for her, for quite some time so I was very happy to finally add her to my collection especially since she was my current most wanted figure. She was the last 1/8 scale Peace @ Pieces figure I needed to complete my collection of Peace @ Pieces figures. I wonder why the good smile company figures were so much harder to find than their Alter counterparts? I realize that came out a little earlier than the Alter figures but still it seems disproportionally hard to find them.

The sheer amount of adorable it kills me..

The mailman stopped and seen me this afternoon. I also got my Books-A-Million order in as well today but didn’t photograph it.

I acquired a Wonder Festival exclusive Saber recently, I had not meant to acquire this figure as the very idea of this figure always seemed pretty ludicrous to me but low and behold she came anyways. I must say she is growing on me and I like her a lot more than I expected.

I love the fact that she is actually visibly chewing on the burger on the one side of her mouth- she looks like a chipmunk.

The non-descriptive bag she holds looks suspiciously like a McDonald’s bag hmm…

Such a mixture of cute and evil.

I think I still prefer the normal release over the limited release, limited is still cute though.
