Accumulated haul ….

I have been at Yahoo Japan again accumulating a nice variety of stuff over the past month, finally requesting all of said loot to be shipped to me as I cleared some room for it.

Commentary- Beat Blades Haruka was purchased because I have a friend who owns it and after seeing it in person I had to have it plus it’s freaking huge compared to the Kotobukiya 1/8th (I imagine it will be huge next to the Alter one too.. once it arrives as I neglected to buy the Koto release ^^;).

All three of the blythes were purchased because I wanted a blythe with black hair, I bought Love Mission first but then a Goldie popped up a fantastic price and then I fell in love with Rosie Red so I bought her too. I might end up selling Love Mission as I feel I kind of settled on her and I only really need two blythes with black hair (well I only really need one but I am not willing to give up Rosie Red or Goldie without a fight).

The Fate / Zero two pack was purchased because I love Illya.. that’s basically the only reason why . I also bought the Fate/Stay Night Illya swimsuit figure for this reason. I had previously purchased her along with a few other figures from a shop overseas but the package somehow never arrived ^^; I think the post most of swallowed her whole.

I bought the Sephiroth statue because I am currently playing through Crisis Core and it struck me that I did not have enough figures of him (he being one of the extremely few males I will actually buy multiple figures of).

I bought Wang Liu Mei because I always regretted not preordering her. She is one of my favorite Gundam 00 characters.

I almost have enough Moe-tan figures to fill a small shelf.. almost so I decided to buy this one to kind of justify giving Moe-tan it’s own shelf ^^; plus she was quite cheap despite the fact that she is extremely cute.

I am a huge Rozen Maiden fan, I previously got the Suigintou that matched this Shinku for my birthday. I finally won one at the price I wanted after losing three auctions for her ^^;

I am paying roughly $500 all told for this package which may seem high until you put into context that the All Gold in One blythe has been known to go for over that amount all by herself.

Dolls, dolls and more dolls

BJD
I am thinking about getting another bjd. After attending the bjd meet I decided that I really wanted another Little Fee as they are a really good size for me. I am torn between Flora or Lishe. I probably won’t order her until the middle of June.

My other puki should be paid off this weekend. I think I will buy one more puki after I buy the little fee.

Blythe
My Sunshine Holiday arrived today. I decided to name her Summer Breeze. I rather like her and I absolutely love her stock.

Pullips
I ended up preordering all three of the August dolls. I ended up preordering two of the pullip which I intend on splitting with someone basically because I think the pullip would be the perfect base for a custom pullip Harley Quinn. I did cave and preorder the byul, I am undecided if I will keep the doll itself but if I dislike it in person I will trade it to Requiem for bait and use the wig and stock on a dal instead.

I plan on having a doll meet with Requiem next week, I am trading her two blythes plus a little cash for two customs. I will be trading my Adorable Aubrey and my Ashletina for Gogo and Nyx.

Gogo is one of Requiem’s personal customs, she is one of my personal favorites was very happy Requiem decided to re-home her. This picture was taken on one of her previous visits.

Nyx was a custom done just for me by Requiem. She is combination of the Jun Planning custom on the front cover of the pullip mook and what Bianca (Noir’s opposite twin) should have been. She has a removable lip piercing on the opposite side of Noir. The lip piercing is a wonderful bit of innovation and engineering by Requiem as she was able to make it in such a way that you can not really see the hole for the piercing in the lip unless you are looking at it at the exact perfect angle. I was very pleased with her. Please note this is not her permanent wig or outfit.

I bought an eighth Papin. She is a rescue job as she was about to be sold as bait due to some very slight damage to her nose.

All quiet on the western front

I received two packages yesterday. One was the Ashletina blythe and the other was a package of handmade doll clothes from Angelberries.

I was slightly disappointed with Ashletina as she just didn’t really live up to my expectations. I am going to try and give her a little bit more time but I haven’t come up with a name for her yet.

The package from angelberries more than made up with my dissatisfaction with the blythe though. She had run a buy one get one free promotion a few weeks back so I bought two dresses and two pairs of socks and got two of each free.. my only regret is that I didn’t buy more when I had the chance. An unexpected bonus was that the dresses actually fit my little fee Ante, Marie. I liked the one dress I previously got so much I got another one of it.

Sorry things have been a quiet on the anime front today but I bought this figure today..

I previously bought this figure but the package she was in went bump in the night, it must have got lost in the post.

I am still awaiting a response from toyslogic re- my last package it has been a week with no response so I had the email resent tonight.

In other news I got the Green Day concert tickets that I wanted. Very excited that they were on the cover of Rolling Stone this week although I haven’t read the article about them yet and frankly I don’t think the newest album is their best work (my LP won’t even be here for another month >_<).

Spicing things up a little

I decided to spice things up a bit and decided to rehome a few of my dolls, for those of you interested there is Sales Information here. I am currently looking to rehome a nude Kirsche pullip, a NRFB Monomono dal and a Rouge Noir blythe. I am the point where I have so many dolls that there are a few that get zero attention so I decided to let them go.

I am also already in the progress of trading one of my twin Hangry’s for a Fairyland Puki Piki. Adorable Aubrey is possibly also being traded or sold if the trade falls through.

Doll Stuff
- Bought a J-doll last night for $20 plus shipping, the only catch is she lacks arms but she is on the same type of body as a pullip so I have plenty of replacements on hand.

- I am acquiring a dollfie dream head (will buy a body at my leisure) and have decided to do the most epic three way custom ever involving said DD, a dal and a pullip on a 25cm obitsu. Now this will take me a while to put together but the DD will be Chii, the dal Kotoko (note: the frowny face) and the pullip Sumomo. I already have someone commissioned to make me external audio receptors. I am hoping this will remove my need for the Super Dollfie Chii.

- I have four blythes in the mail at the moment ^^; Ashletina is coming from HLJ. Then I decided I need a black haired blythe… somehow I ended up buying three: All Gold in One, Love Mission and Rosie Red. I am not 100% sure I will keep all three of them.

- Another doll meet this week. I am going to learn how to make doll kimonos among other things

Dollfie Dream
I got in on the preorder lottery for dollfie dream Rin today.

I should know whether or not I have won the right to buy her on the 15th.

Pullips
Kirakishou the second and Papin the seventh arrived today in the mail. Kirakishou isn’t staying long so I made the best of her short time here. I had to get a shot of my complete Rozen Maiden doll collection.

I also decided to take a picture of some of the rarer girls together because well they are so rarely altogether, never mind photographed.

Blythe
I had kind of been wanting to acquire a black haired blythe, unfortunately I seen not one but two pop up for good prices. So I have an All Gold in One (Goldie) and a Love Mission on the way.

Obligitory Doll Post

A Fruit Punch blythe joined my doll crew today. She is a disco diva so I named her Blondie. This blythe has restored my faith in the ebl face mold.

In other doll news..
- Doll Meet on Tuesday- Hopefully Kira will have arrived by then so Requiem can take her home with her and Dalvam can stay with me.
- Decided what was happening with the custom bait of mine that Requiem has. Her name is going to be Nyx, she is getting a custom made wig and is going to be Azreal’s rival.
- I might try and join the lottery for Dollfie Dream Rin, still debating I would prefer Illya but Rin is on my eventual must buy list and I would prefer to get her sooner rather than later.

Started a new project-a wordpress gallery of sorts for my dolls Doll Blog. This is going to be a continuous project for me my goal is to add at least one of my dolls a day I have over 200 now with at least one more always in the mail so should keep me busy for a while.

In actuality my Frosty Frock is having a RIT Dye treatment to change her hair color. Both my Frosty Frock and my Violetina got new hair colors.. Frosty Frock went green and Violetina went purple.
