Anime Boston Haul

Normally I buy a lot more but there was not much of a selection this year, plus I own quite a large number already (just surpassed 1,000 on tsuki-board although I have a lot more that I own that I haven’t bothered listing there yet due to sheer amounts of laziness) so finding something I wanted but didn’t have or have preordered or have in the mail was a challenge.

I think the best find this year was the Sister Princess statue (girl in bikini). I paid $45 original MSRP of 16,000 yen. Most of the other figures were stuff that was my to be eventually be acquired list that I found for cheap and bought with the exception of the Gundam (which reminds me I have a strike rouge I need to finish building ^^;). I honestly did not see a lot of interesting stuff this year.

I did manage to find one item off of my other anime wants list- a He Is My Master towel featuring Anna and Mitsuki.

Recent Developments

Been attacking Yahoo Japan again buying up an interesting combination of figures…

Evangelion- Rei & Asuka- Volks- Customa P Figures- Found the two pack of them cheap and had been wanting them for quite a while

Fate Stay/Night- Rin- Clayz- I was forced to expand my fate display space so I now I have room for some fate figures I wanted but didn’t have the room for.

Fate Stay/Night- Saber- Alter Wonderfest Exclusive- Now this one is kind of funny because I was looking for it for someone else of course I made the mistake of deciding I needed a drink at that moment.. When I got back with my beverage in hand I had curiously won with the BIN, I was perplexed until I hear from across the room “great find” ::is still slightly annoyed:: .

Edit: Last figure was canceled by the seller as he does not like to work with international agencies *grumbles to self*

Yay for new stuff

It’s never a good sign when your mailman needs help from the UPS man to bring in your packages…
