Spicing things up a little

I decided to spice things up a bit and decided to rehome a few of my dolls, for those of you interested there is Sales Information here. I am currently looking to rehome a nude Kirsche pullip, a NRFB Monomono dal and a Rouge Noir blythe. I am the point where I have so many dolls that there are a few that get zero attention so I decided to let them go.

I am also already in the progress of trading one of my twin Hangry’s for a Fairyland Puki Piki. Adorable Aubrey is possibly also being traded or sold if the trade falls through.

Doll Stuff
– Bought a J-doll last night for $20 plus shipping, the only catch is she lacks arms but she is on the same type of body as a pullip so I have plenty of replacements on hand.

– I am acquiring a dollfie dream head (will buy a body at my leisure) and have decided to do the most epic three way custom ever involving said DD, a dal and a pullip on a 25cm obitsu. Now this will take me a while to put together but the DD will be Chii, the dal Kotoko (note: the frowny face) and the pullip Sumomo. I already have someone commissioned to make me external audio receptors. I am hoping this will remove my need for the Super Dollfie Chii.

– I have four blythes in the mail at the moment ^^; Ashletina is coming from HLJ. Then I decided I need a black haired blythe… somehow I ended up buying three: All Gold in One, Love Mission and Rosie Red. I am not 100% sure I will keep all three of them.

– Another doll meet this week. I am going to learn how to make doll kimonos among other things 😀

Dollfie Dream
I got in on the preorder lottery for dollfie dream Rin today.

I should know whether or not I have won the right to buy her on the 15th.

Pullips
Kirakishou the second and Papin the seventh arrived today in the mail. Kirakishou isn’t staying long so I made the best of her short time here. I had to get a shot of my complete Rozen Maiden doll collection.

I also decided to take a picture of some of the rarer girls together because well they are so rarely altogether, never mind photographed.

Blythe
I had kind of been wanting to acquire a black haired blythe, unfortunately I seen not one but two pop up for good prices. So I have an All Gold in One (Goldie) and a Love Mission on the way.

Dreaming..of a doll with a sniper rifle..

Yoko has been preordered ^_^ She was preordered before she was fully revealed so I was a bit apprehensive about what the final design would be but I am very happy with how she turned out.

There was some discussion about possibly getting Nia as well but I am not entirely thrilled with Nia’s design (especially the eyes) so it was decided against at this time.. besides by not buying Nia I still might be able to get Illyavasal in the somewhat near future.

Dollfie Dreams again

Here’s the dollfies in there case. I had intially only planned on getting one dollfie so they are a wee bit cramped in there and yes their case has a lock on it.

I got some reasonably better pictures of them today that I am a bit happier with.


I still need to redress Ryomou but her stockings were such a pain to get up in the first place I am not in a rush to take them off again.

Dollfie Dreams Kanu & Ryomou

I got them both opened and dress but as the light was fading so I unfortunately did not have much time for pictures which means I am not exactly happy with these photos so here goes…

Oddly I find myself preferring Ryomou over Kanu, they are both great but Ryomou comes with handcuffs and boots of doom. I am still flabbergasted by the size of these two.

I dream of dollfies.. part 2

I have to the conclusion that I can not own a single doll of a certain type, I prefer for them to be in pairs at the very least. With that being said I purchased my second dollfie dream today before the first one even arrived.
 

It should be obvious by now that the first dollfie dream is Kanu who will hopefully be arriving Wednesday/Thursday according to her tracking number. Ryomou has officially unseated Kanu as the most expensive of my anime purchases by about $120 with the conversion rate but she comes with both of her optional outfits whose MSRP were 12,000 yen each so she is actually the better value.

I dream of dollfies..

So I am getting a dollfie dream, she was purchased late Friday. She is en routing currently in Japan I am hoping she shows up Thursday/ Friday, but I will just be happy if she gets here before the doll meet next Monday. I made a special trip to Ikea on Saturday to buy her own detolf, somehow I got talked into getting her a biby instead as it has actually has a lock on it.

It’s one of these four although I won’t say which…

I had the realization last night that one of the doll stores I do business with in Japan mentions to email them if you had any questions and that they did not list everything that they had in their online store but they welcomed inquiries. I was curious to see what they actually had in stock so I emailed them last night and within maybe ten minutes they simply responded yes we have some and they even sent me a picture of the eight they currently have in stock.. They actually have three that interest me, one really interests me as the counter part to the one that is already on the way plus she comes with boatload of extras. Now I am having the internal battle of whether or not I should buy a 2nd one as their prices are pretty good. My birthday is next month after all.. I’m going to take a look at my preorders and see what exactly is expandable..

Dollfie Dream

The dollfie dream has officially been purchased and she is by far my most expensive anime purchase ever. I will not be sharing who she is until she arrives. I hope she arrives before my doll meet on the 16th. I need to order her a stand and a wig cap off of volks usa before I forget.

I made a special trip to Ikea today to buy her, her own detolf case. After much discussion and debate I opted not to get her the detolf after all and go for the biby instead as well seeing how much was spent on her I would rather like her under lock and key.

I haven’t been this excited about a doll in a while. I actually contemplated buying a second dollfie dream today … must resist urge to populate apartment with dollfie dreams.
